Ariane is an American singer, model and social media celebrity. Cameron Lynn was her ring name at the time she joined the WWE. In February 2014 she took home her first significant win during the Elimination Chamber Episode where she defeated AJ Lee to become Divas Champion. That next week, she faced another match against Lee but was not able to keep her title. Ariana was then matched against Lee to compete for an opportunity to win the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational that was also won by Lee. Ariana was joined by Naomi Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes, Summer Rae and Summer Rae in July 2014 for a match against Nikki Bella with the handicap in a six-on-one game. But, she just showed up in the event of an assault by Nikki and Naomi. At the Battleground pre-show, she was in a match with Naomi. Ariana defeated Naomi in this match. The result was that they began competing. They fought several handicap matches and tag-teams throughout the summer.
